Road Forms
Road forms are rigid steel shuttering rails used to form the edges when laying concrete slabs, roads, foundations and drives. GAP Hire Solutions' road form hire range includes true square forms and flexible forms with a smooth radius bend for curved edges. Also known as road form shuttering, they're supplied with stakes to peg them firmly into position, typically at a rate of three pins per form, so the form holds its line while concrete is poured and screeded against it. Road forms are used to create straight, level, well-contained edges on ground slabs, roadways, footways, hardstandings and drives, keeping wet concrete exactly where it needs to be until it has set. Groundworkers, and civils, concrete and highways contractors hire road forms because a true edge saves time on finishing and reduces the concrete wasted at the boundary. GAP Hire Solutions has road form hire available nationwide with fast depot delivery.
